What are Microgreens?

Microgreens are young vegetables harvested when the first leaves (Cotyledens) have developed to maximize concentration of flavor and nutrients. Traditionally used as a garnish by chefs at high end restaurants for their bright colors and enhanced flavor profiles. Microgreens have become a staple of diets worldwide due to the seemingly endless health benefits, performance enhancing abilities and Superfood status. Scientists are only beginning to understand all the benefits that Microgreens have to offer.
